Each lab pod or Switch Block is independent of other pods. Four students are usually assigned to a pod or ‘Switch Block’ and between them control all devices within their assigned Switch Block.

Summary of SWITCH 1.0 Changes and Instructor Notes to Individual Exercises
Students and Instructors should refer to the online Topology Network Design Layout diagram for referencing the actual physical port cabling connections and connectors used in the individual Labs.

Compared to the original lab exercises, the remote lab exercises are functionally equivalent. Instructors are requested to familiarize themselves with the following Labs and topology layout diagrams. The Lab implementation varies from the original Cisco topology and the Topology Design Guides are available to facilitate these changes.
